Take a moment to hear from Lynne & Gary - Ethan's parents - about the heart behind The E-Pledge. Through stories of Ethan, they're teaching kids the power of proactive kindness and compassion in the most beautiful way. 💫
🎥Watch their inspirational message to schools, camps and youth organizations who want to bring The E-Pledge to their community.
Ethan touched so many people through his everyday actions, whether it was to help a friend in need, be the first to congratulate a peer on their success, create a smile for a stranger or encourage or motivate a friend to achieve a goal they set for themselves.
By spreading kindness and happiness, The E-Pledge becomes a powerful tool for students to learn and teach about the far-reaching impact of their actions and the importance of being responsible and compassionate human beings. Kindness knows no boundaries and can be a force for positive change at any level. At his core, Ethan knew that everything begins with kindness and that, no matter the scenario, the true measure of a human being wasn’t how much he/she had but, rather, how much he/she gave.
Since launching the E-Pledge in the Fall of 2023, we have visited over a dozen local schools and organizations, and partnered with several schools outside of New York State, to speak with children about Ethan and his kind ways. The E-Pledge is more than just a promise - it's a movement. It's our hope that by sharing Ethan's story, we'll inspire school-age children to see how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. When one child chooses compassion, it creates a domino effect - spreading from classroom to classroom, school to school, and heart to heart. Kindness is contagious, and with every story shared, we can plant the seed for a kinder, more connected world.

We started The E-Pledge as a way to improve the world the way Ethan would. Through his actions, Ethan realized at a young age that kindness was the key to happiness.
